Today’s window view at work! The mountain reported 24 inches of new snow. I’m crossing my fingers (along with the rest of the valley) that it now stays cold enough to keep the base. This is important because avalanche conditions and back country exploration are more at risk without it.
Supposedly we’re in a “La Nina” weather pattern which favors an above average snowfall. This is good news indeed when you live in a ski town and just received the #2 rated best spot for powder skiing from Powder Magazine.
This will be my fourth winter here and I admit I’m addicted.
