Went to Itawon yesterday
strange to see white people
they seemed angry
what happened to their discovery and wonderment of a new culture and place
it’s been an amazing experience
always learning something new
growth and change are met with open arms
albeit not easy……………

stranger in a foreign land
senses heightened
emotions run high
have I ever been this alive
noticing stares
small children practicing english phrases and their beautiful smiles
smell of garlic mixed with beer on business men coming home on the subway
fishy smells and different sorts of kimchi
watching the sun rise sitting on the roof and the amazing energy a new morning [...]

I know it’s been a few day and a whirlwind at that but all is good and we’re safe and sound in Seoul and having a freaking blast. This city is amazing and Koreans are super nice.
